| AMERICA’S POLITICAL JUDAS | |
| Just as the Judas who betrayed Jesus, his fellow disciples, the treasury, and their followers, America in the 21st century has a modern political Judas who has likewise demonstrated the betrayal of his government, those he represents and his fellow citizens for personal power. Judas of old was a caretaker of the disciples’ treasury, from which he stole and demonstrated being untrustworthy. The 21st century Judas likewise stole the political rights to freedom, liberty and self-governance of the people from the people, causing unnecessary hardships, bankruptcy, and the erosion of a democratic republic’s principles. Instead of 30 pieces of silver reward, our 21st century Judas was rewarded with years of extraordinary political powers. Just to mention a few, power to control a branch of government, power to limit a president’s power, power to shut down the government, power to politicize the judicial system, power to deny healthcare to tens of millions, power to stop the removal of a corrupt leader, and so this Judas’ legislative power continued. The Judas of old betrayed with a kiss, whereas this modern day Judas shook hands with the perpetrator of an insurrection against democracy. Finally, the Judas of old, realizing what he had done in his betrayal, committed suicide. Our contemporary Judas, retired! And so these similar historic acts reside as specks in the dust of history, where the moving finger has written, writes on….. THE FUTURE BEGINS TODAY!!!
